Abu Dhabi [UAE], February 24 (ANI): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cabinet, led by Sheik Mohammed receptacle Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has endorsed the foundation of the Executive Office of the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT).
As indicated by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the Executive Office will direct the usage of the UAE’s National AML/CFT Strategy and National Action Plan (NAP), the program of changes intended to reinforce the country’s enemy of monetary wrongdoing framework.
Hamid Al Zaabi has been authoritatively selected as the Director-General of the Executive Office of the UAE, who will report straightforwardly to the Higher Committee supervising the UAE’s National AML/CFT Strategy, led by Sheik Abdullah container Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Following the choice of his arrangement, Al Zaabi said, as cited by WAM, “considering the vision of the UAE’s authority, and the direction of the Chair of the Higher Committee supervising the UAE’s National AML/CFT Strategy, the UAE plays its part in ensuring the uprightness of the worldwide monetary framework amazingly genuinely. The Executive Office will fortify the UAE’s homegrown safeguards against illegal tax avoidance and fear based oppressor financing while at the same time empowering compelling implementation.
