Donald Trump permanently closed his blog, a web page where former US president shared speeches and fiery statements after being banned by social media giants, including Facebook and Twitter. The page titled ‘From Donald J. Trump’s desk was removed from the Trump website after living less than a month before, a spokesman Jason Miller told CNBC News on Wednesday.
“It’s only extra for the wider effort we have and is working on,” Miller said, adding that the web page “will not return”.
“Hope to have more information about wider efforts immediately, but I don’t have the right awareness about time,” Miller said.

Asked later whether the move was “precursor” up to 74 years Trump, a republican, joined the “other social media platform,” Miller said: “Yes, actually. Stay here!”
The former president, who left the office on January 20 showed to run for the White House again in 2024, has long accused the giant social media, including Facebook and Twitter where he has tens of millions of followers, about breastfeeding conservative politics and sensors.
Facebook, Instagram and other social media outlets also prohibited his account, allebting that his posts triggered violence after the hordes of violence of his supporters invaded the Capitol on January 6.
Trump, who lost to the rival of his democracy party, Joe Biden in the November 4 presidential election, was accused of inciting riots at US Capitol on January 6 which left five people, including a police officer, died.
A short-lived blog, launched last month, was dubbed the new “communication platform” at the time of its launch.
Miller said that the ‘table page’ was a “good resource” to find a Trump statement, “but this is not a new social media platform.”
The Trump blog struggled to engage with large-scale people, NBC News reported a week after its launch, citing data compiled with Buzzsumo.
After being banned by Twitter in January in an unprecedented step, Trump slammed the California-based microblogging site, swore that he and his support base would not be silenced. At the time of permanent suspension, Trump, which is now based in its resort in Florida, has 88.7 million followers and participated in 51 people.
