Salman Khan’s Antim The Final verity is each set to hit cinema halls on November 26. In the film, also starring his family-in- law Aayush Sharma, Salman plays a bobby Rajveer Singh. In a recent press commerce, the Bollywood megastar talked about creating his own bobby macrocosm and his experience of working with his friend, filmmaker Mahesh ManjrekarAntim The Final verity is the remake of Marathi drama Mulshi Pattern. When did you decide to remake the film The DOP ( director of photography) of Dabangg 3 Mahesh Limaye recited the story to me as he’d shot the original film (Mulshi Pattern). I saw the Marathi film much latterly when I was at my grange. There’s a character of a bobby in the film and I really liked it. But I realised that they had left his character interior. I realised that there were two characters (a bobby and a gangbanger) who come from a analogous situation and take different paths. I felt that both the characters demanded to have equal time. So that’s when I decided to make this film from the bobby’s point of view.
You have played the part of a bobby multiple times in the once including Dabangg and Radhe. Are you trying to make your own bobby macrocosm (Laughs) On a serious note, I realised that I’ve played a bobby several times but I really loved this subject. Originally, I was in two minds whether I should do it or not, but the idea was stuck in my head. I was told it’s a small part but I refused to accept it. I was working on the script with Mahesh (Manjrekar) and I knew what we were making. We’ve only picked up the introductory plot from the original. The script has been changed and it’s a different film altogether. It’s lavishly mounted while the original was made on a limited budget Every bobby character that you have played in the history is different. How did you decide on doing this character?
I was at my ranch. My hair and beard had grown. We were supposed to shoot the film in Punjab but we could n’t do it due to the lockdown. I realised that the story can be set in any vill of our country. We’ve so numerous sardar bobbies then in Maharashtra too. So that’s how we decided to shoot the film then. Also, I could n’t shoot for Tiger 3 and there were addresses that this is Aayush Sharma’s film. He’s there in the film but movie paaji ki hi hai (the movie belongs to me) How was it working with your family-in- law Aayush Sharma? What about him has impressed you as aco-star?
When I’m on set, I’m working there. There’s no family, no family. There’s no family We were doing this film before. We still have the script. It was for me but I had passed that age. The title of the film was My Punjabi Nikaah. So Sohail came to me saying that they’re planning to look for notoriety differently. Sohail also told me that he has seen this joe at the spa and thinks he’s ideal for the character. So, after two days, I told him to subscribe that joe and go ahead, but Sohail told me that he’s not been coming to the spa. He used to be regular and also suddenly we could n’t find him.
Also one day Arpita called. I stay just one bottom below her, but since she called us, we all went to meet her. And, we see this boy standing with Arpita, my father and mama. We had seen him around before too. And also Arpita said,‘Dad, I want to marry him.’I asked her if he’s the joe from the spa, she said yes. I asked Sohail if he’s the same joe he allowed for his film, he said yes. So I told him,‘ab toh main free mein film banaunga (I ’ll make the film for free with him)’.

.How was the experience of working with Mahesh Manjrekar? He was diagnosed with cancer while shooting for the film.
He’s damn good. He’s amulti-talented personality. He does acting, directing, calculating, singing, painting and also culinarians food. He’s an amazing chef. He fed me funk and fish He’s a real fighter. We were shooting when he’d cancer and during the epidemic which is a big thing.
We generally see Sikh characters doing comedy in flicks. Were you clear that you did n’t want any of that in the film?
When you have to make them look like god, you make them look like it. When you see well- dressed sardars, they look like god or soldiers and that’s what I wanted to show in the film Since the rise of OTT during lockdown, has the magic of theatres faded down No. I knew theatres would be shut for some time but formerly vaccinations are done and this becomes like common flu, people will come back and shoots would renew too. I do n’t suppose cinema can take OTT’s place and OTT can take down cinema’s place. Because it isn’t the same thing. One would sit at home with family and watch it moreover on Television or on laptop. It’s no fun to watch anything on phone or iPad. It’s stylish to watch on Television, but that also does n’t match up to the theatre screen.
