Russian Ukrainian crisis Direct: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said nearly 6,000 Russians were killed in 6 wars, according to Reuters reports. It came in the midst of the news in the Russian air that landed in the second largest Kharkiv city of Ukraine, who was under intense shootings over the past few days. The city mayor said at least 21 people were killed and 112 were injured in the shooting in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the government said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi “has spoken with Russian leaders, Ukraine, Roman, Slovak and Poland Republic of the safety and facilitation of evacuation of Indian citizens from Ukraine” and all efforts made to return 40% of Indians trapped in the region War-hit. Of the approximately 20,000 Indian citizens in Ukraine, 30% have reached India and other 30% are in neighboring countries, the government said.
Previously on that day, US President Joe Biden vowed to make Vladimir Putin “pay the price” for Russian invasion to Ukraine at the address of his first unity. Announced that the US prohibited Russia from the airspace, Biden said the Russian President met with “a wall of power” in Ukraine
